The FIFPRO World 11, an accolade honoring the top male and female footballers as chosen by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) Players' Union, was initially referred to as the FIFPRO World 11. This prestigious honor, which commenced in 2005, recognizes the finest footballers as elected by their peers. In 2009, a partnership between FIFPRO and FIFA led to a rename to the "FIFA FIFPRO World 11," colloquially known as the FIFA Team of the Year, while maintaining the original voting process. As of 2024, FIFPRO has resumed sole administration of the award, reverting to its original title: the FIFPRO World 11.
The FIFPRO Team of the Year, a prestigious accolade in football, is uniquely determined by votes from players across the globe. Recognized as the sole global honor decided entirely by the players themselves, this award takes into account the performances of nominees from August 4, 2025, to July 19, 2026. To be eligible, a player must have participated in at least 30 official matches during this specified period.
在最终的11人名单中，将包括1名守门员、3名后卫、3名中场球员、3名前锋，以及得票数最高的非守门员球员。
