11月2日，据24直播网报道，ESPN资深记者Brian Windhorst与Tim MacMahon在《The Hoop Collective》播客访谈中，探讨了休斯顿火箭队中锋史蒂文·亚当斯的健康状况。
"Upon the Rockets' acquisition of Durant, MacMahon opined that the immediate sentiment was one of urgency for a player capable of rising to the occasion in crucial moments—a sentiment fulfilled with the acquisition of a Hall of Famer. The team was poised for a championship bid at that point. However, the team's training camp in the Bahamas was disrupted by VanVleet's injury, which altered the trajectory. Adams also faced health issues, further complicating the situation. Adams is currently dealing with various physical concerns. The team aims for him to contribute 15 to 20 minutes per game in the playoffs. Prior to that, they plan to carefully manage his health."
